Commitment Means Sometimes Doing What You Don’t Want to Do

Video image - Commitment Means Sometimes Doing What You Don’t Want to DoCommitment has been described as doing something long even when you don’t feel like doing it any more. When you commit to doing something, you need to see it through.

It’s not the easy thing to do, however. In fact, it’s often easier not to do the thing we need to do.

This morning I justified not going to a business training event so I could work on something “more productive.” (I never claimed to be perfect.) I created a perfect excuse in my mind for not attending. Never mind that others were expecting me or that I’d made a commitment to attend.

Watch this video to find out what happened as a result and what I learned.
