Don’t Kid Yourself

Most people have ideas and dreams, things they’d like to have in their life. Few people are really willing to do the work it takes to accomplish those things, however.

Many people talk a big game, and they tell people what they want. They talk, talk, talk but they never convince anyone. Why? Because their actions aren’t congruent with their talk.

They’re kidding themselves by thinking that the thing they’re hoping for is ever going to come to pass. Wishing never brought about something.

Even the Bible tells us that faith is super important, but it tells us that faith without works is dead. Having faith but not doing anything doesn’t activate the blessing. You have to do something.

Stop hoping. Stop wishing. Start working.
