After dropping the kids off at school, my wife and I sat down for breakfast and roughed out what we were going to do through our day. Creating a list of goals for the day can help you maximize your time.
I’m not talking about the little errands and distractions that come up, but the activities that you set out to do that are part of a larger goal. Plan your day. Think about what you want to accomplish.
Write down your top goals for the day and then check them off as you get them done. Something happens in your brain when you write down a goal. They become more tangible and “real” in your mind. And when you check it off your list, you’ll feel a sense of accomplishment, which will boost your confidence and self-esteem.
