Welcome to the official Mark T. Arsenault web site! I created this space to collect my various professional endeavors onto one web page. I’m excited and grateful that you’re here. I encourage you to look around a bit. You can get information about my endeavors as an author, speaker, coach, teacher, actor and entrepreneur. You can also get the latest news about what I’m doing, read my blog posts (I’ll eventually have all of my blog posts from my old web site posted here for you to enjoy), purchase books I’ve written or those I recommend, learn more about me, and contact me through this site, as well. It’s all here!
So why did I create a new web site? For two reasons.
First, to better brand myself. Let’ face it. In business and marketing, your brand is everything. I realize that by having a web site with a company name, I was promoting that company name and not necessarily promoting “me.” Make sense? People don’t want to get to know a company name. They want to get to know a person. The best thing to do, in my opinion, was to create this new web page and brand it with my name.
Second, I needed to get more focused. As I was working in different areas I began to feel like things were too “spread out.” The bottom line is that I needed to be more focused. The most successful people in the world (Tony Robbins, Jack Canfield, Brian Tracy, Les Brown, the late Jim Rohn, etc.) will all tell you the same thing: To be great at anything, you have to focus on that area. You can’t have seventeen things going on and me great at all of them. You can be good at a lot of things. You can be really good at a few things. But to be master class level great at something, you need to focus your time and efforts on that thing.
I’ve had a lot of irons in the fire over the last 20 years. I’m focusing on just a few things any more. I now consider myself a “communicator.” That’s what I do. Whether I communicate with individuals (through my coaching, or one-on-one entrepreneurship consulting), in small groups (as a class teacher, mastermind group facilitator, or presenter), in large groups (as a speaker), or on a mass scale (as an actor or author), the basics of what I do are the same: I communicate with other people.
So here we are. I hope you enjoy your visit and that I see you back here again in the future.
